Title: Business Development Manager (Engineering Services)

Location: The Woodlands, TX 77380

Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager to drive the expansion of our client base and revenue streams. This role entails identifying and cultivating prospective clients, understanding market dynamics, participating in industry events, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure alignment with market needs. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Identify and develop prospective customers to enhance the marketability of our engineering solutions.
  2. Qualify potential clients and assess business opportunities by analyzing the competitive landscape and understanding customer needs.
  3. Actively engage in trade shows and events to network and approach target customers directly.
  4. Provide accurate forecasts of business opportunities and contribute to refining market strategies.
  5. Serve as a key account manager, collaborating with delivery teams to ensure successful solution delivery.
  6. Work closely with management and marketing/sales teams to align product offerings with market demands.
  7. Generate and manage leads in collaboration with the marketing team.
  8. Willingness to travel nationwide to engage with clients.
  9. Enhance organizational reputation by proactively adding value to job accomplishments.
  10. Develop and oversee marketing functions to identify key strategies for new customer acquisition and growth.
  11. Provide market intelligence and feedback to global and regional teams on industry developments and competitor analysis.

Bachelor degree

Primary Responsibilities :

Desired Profile:

  1. Strong cognitive abilities with the capacity to learn quickly and lead complex sales processes.
  2. Deep understanding of the construction industry, particularly in Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings and Structural Buildings, along with proficiency in relevant software (MBS, Autodesk, STAAD Pro, Tekla 3D modeling).
  3. Exceptional business acumen, communication skills, and forecasting abilities.
  4. Entrepreneurial mindset with self-drive and motivation to identify and cultivate business opportunities independently.

Education & Experience:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Architectural Engineering.
  2. 10-15 years of experience in the Engineering Services Industry, preferably with a focus on Metallic Buildings.
