General Responsibility:

Plan, design, implement, and manage complex and software-defined network and data center solutions to meet business requirements. Design, implement, and maintain network and cybersecurity measures to safeguard organizational assets from cyberattacks. Configure and maintain layer 2 and layer 3 network hardware, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement network solutions that align with required business goals. Stay current with industry trends and technologies to continuously improve network infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain network and cybersecurity measures.
  • Configure and maintain layer 2 and layer 3 network hardware.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and recommend enhancements.
  • Review and approve Low Level and High-Level design of Campus/WAN networks.
  • Provide technical expertise in the design, implementation, and support of network infrastructure.

Bachelor degree

Primary Responsibilities :

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Network or Network security engineering and design roles.
  • Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE certification) in Routing and Switching (R&S) or Security.
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, and Fortinet network hardware and software.
  • Strong knowledge of network routing protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, SDN, DHCP, VLANs/VXLANS).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with network monitoring tools and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Familiarity with network products and solutions from vendors like Cisco, HPE, Ruckus, Fortinet, Aruba, etc.

  • Commitment to meeting deadlines regardless of working on weekends, holidays, and beyond normal working hours.
  • Self-directed learner who takes full responsibility for growth and skill development.
  • Take ownership of problems and shepherd the process until it is resolved.
  • Able to relocate to Ethiopia.
