Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced General Manager to oversee the daily operations of a metal plant in Nigeria. The General Manager will be responsible for the strategic direction, leadership, and overall management of the plant, ensuring operational excellence, profitability, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the operations of the plant and manage all departments to ensure effective functioning.
- Develop and implement business strategies and objectives for plant growth.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Monitor and improve operational efficiency and productivity.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to senior management and staff.
- Manage budgets, financial performance, and cost control.
- Collaborate with external stakeholders, including suppliers, clients, and regulatory authorities.
