Laundry Supervisor

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure compliance with company policies and quality standards, including QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment) protocols.
• Conduct daily team briefings to address work updates and promote safety awareness.
• Supervise laundry operations, including timely collection, washing, drying, pressing, and delivery of laundry items.
• Oversee proper handling and maintenance of laundry machines and equipment; promptly report any malfunctions.
• Monitor the appropriate use of detergents, chemicals, and equipment for various types of fabric.
• Maintain accurate records of laundry operations, including collection and delivery logs.
• Ensure personal safety and hygiene practices are followed by all staff in the laundry area.
• Promote a clean and safe working environment, adhering to hygiene and sanitation standards.
• Report operational issues or equipment malfunctions to management immediately.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience: 5 to 6 years in a similar role within a 4 to 5-star environment or remote site support services.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficient in operating and maintaining industrial laundry equipment.
  • Knowledge of chemicals and detergents suitable for different fabric types.
• Communication: Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
• Technology Skills: Computer literate with basic proficiency in record-keeping and reporting.

• Physically and mentally fit to work long hours.
• Energetic and able to handle high-pressure situations.
