We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pastry and Bakery Chef to join our culinary team in Baghdad. The ideal candidate will be responsible for crafting high-quality pastries, baked goods, and desserts while maintaining consistency, creativity, and hygiene standards. This position is open to both experienced professionals and freshers with strong culinary training and enthusiasm.
Bachelor degree
Prepare and present a wide variety of baked goods, including breads, pastries, cakes, and desserts.
Develop new recipes and seasonal menu items based on global and local culinary trends.
Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and sanitation.
Manage kitchen inventory and ensure timely ordering of bakery supplies.
Train and guide junior kitchen staff and assistants.
Monitor kitchen equipment and ensure proper maintenance and usage.
Collaborate with other chefs to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role (Freshers may also apply if they demonstrate strong technical and creative skills).
Education: Graduation preferred; culinary certifications or specialized pastry courses are a plus.
Languages Known: English and Arabic.
Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills.
