Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Planning & Billing Engineer to manage project planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, billing activities, and project documentation. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in project coordination, quantity estimation, client billing, and project tracking to ensure smooth project execution within timelines and budgets.

The candidate will play a critical role in monitoring project progress, preparing bills, coordinating with site teams, and ensuring timely reporting and documentation.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Strong understanding of project planning and billing processes.
  • Knowledge of BOQ preparation, quantity surveying, and project estimation.

Primary Responsibilities :

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Scheduling

  • Prepare detailed project schedules and work plans.
  • Monitor project timelines and track daily/weekly/monthly progress.
  • Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely execution of activities.
  • Identify project delays and suggest corrective actions.

Billing & Estimation

  • Prepare client RA bills and contractor bills.
  • Verify quantities, measurements, and work completion status.
  • Coordinate with site engineers and accounts teams for billing approvals.
  • Maintain billing records and ensure timely submission of invoices.

Project Monitoring

  • Track project progress against planned schedules.
  • Prepare project progress reports, MIS reports, and dashboards.
  • Monitor material consumption and project productivity.
  • Assist in cost monitoring and budget tracking.

Coordination & Documentation

  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams.
  • Maintain project documentation, BOQs, DPRs, and billing records.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications and contractual requirements.
  • Support project managers in reporting and project reviews.

Software & Technical Support

  • Utilize planning and project management software for scheduling and tracking.
  • Prepare bar charts, progress trackers, and project analysis reports.
  • Assist in project forecasting and resource planning.
