Job Description: Powder Coating Lab Technician & QC

Position: Powder Coating Lab Technician & Quality Control (QC)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Quality Control Checks:

   • Perform regular quality checks on raw materials, intermediate products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
   • Inspect equipment and machinery to identify any potential issues that may affect product quality.
   • Document and report any deviations from quality standards and collaborate with production team members to address them promptly.

2. Laboratory Analysis:

   • Conduct various tests and analyses on powder coating samples using laboratory equipment and instruments.
   • Evaluate the physical and chemical properties of samples, such as color, texture, adhesion, and durability.
   • Interpret test results and generate reports detailing findings and recommendations for improvement.

3. Calibration and Maintenance:

   • Calibrate laboratory equipment and instrumentation to maintain the accuracy and reliability of test results.
   • Perform routine maintenance tasks on equipment to ensure proper functioning and prevent downtime.

4. Continuous Improvement:

   • Identify opportunities for process improvement and product optimization through data analysis and experimentation.
   • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement changes aimed at enhancing product quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

5. Compliance and Safety:

   • Adhere to all relevant safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
   • Maintain compliance with industry standards and quality management systems to uphold product quality and consistency.
