Key Responsibilities:

  • Production Oversight:

    • Manage and monitor day-to-day production operations, ensuring that targets are met within the established timelines and budgets.
    • Develop and implement production schedules to ensure optimal efficiency and minimum downtime.
    • Ensure the production process adheres to all quality standards and specifications.
  • Team Leadership:

    • Supervise and mentor production staff, ensuring they are trained, motivated, and working efficiently.
    • Allocate tasks and ensure proper staffing for all shifts.
    • Foster a positive work environment and encourage teamwork and cooperation among departments.
  • Resource Management:

    • Oversee the use of raw materials, machinery, and labor to maximize productivity while minimizing waste and costs.
    • Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods to ensure uninterrupted production flow.
  • Process Optimization:

    • Continuously analyze production workflows and identify opportunities for improvement in terms of cost reduction, time efficiency, and resource management.
    • Collaborate with other departments (e.g., engineering, quality control, and procurement) to streamline production processes.
  • Safety and Compliance:

    • Ensure that all health, safety, and environmental regulations are adhered to.
    • Conduct regular safety audits and address any compliance issues promptly.
  • Quality Assurance:

    • Work closely with the quality control team to ensure that finished products meet required specifications and quality standards.
    • Implement corrective actions in case of quality deviations.
  • Reporting and Documentation:

    • Maintain accurate production logs, performance reports, and other documentation required by management or regulatory authorities.
    • Analyze production data to assess performance and implement improvements.
