Job Title: Production Planning & Control (PPC) Assistant Manager
Location: Sanand GIDC, Gujarat
Salary Range: ₹70,000 – ₹90,000 per month (based on experience)
Experience Required: 4–7 years (preferably in the FMCG/Food Processing sector)
Qualification: Master’s Degree (MBA/PGDM) in Operations or Supply Chain Management
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented PPC Assistant Manager to oversee and optimize the production planning and inventory control process. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and hands-on experience in production environments, preferably within the FMCG or food processing industry.

Master Planning:
Maintain and continuously improve the master plan for all supply chain activities. Conduct daily reviews and make adjustments as necessary to meet dynamic business needs.
Production Scheduling:
Create and manage production schedules that align with customer demand and inventory targets. Review and adjust daily plans to ensure operational efficiency and minimal downtime.
Inventory Management:
Monitor current stock levels, forecast future requirements, and coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability of raw materials and packaging components.
Process Improvement:
Analyze production workflows to identify bottlenecks and implement best practices for process optimization, cost reduction, and improved resource utilization.
Data-Driven Decision Making:
Utilize production data and KPIs to generate actionable insights. Support planning decisions with data analysis and reporting.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Coordinate closely with production, procurement, supply chain, and quality teams to ensure seamless production operations and timely issue resolution.
Demand Forecasting:
Partner with the sales and marketing teams to anticipate demand fluctuations and adjust production plans accordingly.
Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure all planning and production processes comply with applicable safety, quality, and operational standards and internal policies.
Master’s degree in Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field.
4–7 years of relevant experience, preferably in the FMCG or food processing industry.
Strong understanding of production planning, inventory control, and supply chain functions.
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and planning tools.
Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Strong team collaboration and time management abilities.
Detail-oriented and proactive in addressing production and planning challenges.
Certification in CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management) or equivalent.
Experience using ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft D365, SAP, Oracle).
Exposure to advanced analytics tools such as Power BI.
