Job Description: Sales Engineer

Position: Sales Engineer – USA and Americas
Reporting to: Business Development Director
Location: McLean, VA, USA


Responsibilities

  1. Business Development:

    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the USA and, potentially, international markets.
    • Build relationships with key decision-makers to promote and sell technical products.
  2. Sales and Marketing:

    • Collaborate with the marketing department to implement sales strategies.
    • Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, seminars, and promotional events.
    • Contribute to the creation of marketing materials.
  3. Technical Expertise:

    • Act as a technical consultant, understanding customer requirements and recommending suitable solutions.
    • Confidently discuss technical aspects of products and services with clients.
  4. Customer Relationship Management:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
    • Provide exceptional customer service, address inquiries, generate quotes, and offer technical support.
    • Effectively use CRM tools to follow up on all sales leads and maintain records.
  5. Product Presentations and Demonstrations:

    • Prepare and deliver product presentations and demonstrations to potential and existing clients.
    • Initially support the experienced team and gradually lead presentations independently.
  6. Market Analysis:

    • Stay updated on market trends, competitors, and emerging technologies within relevant sectors.
    • Provide relevant reports and insights to the sales team.

Bachelor degree

Primary Responsibilities :

Requirements

  1. Education:

    • A bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Communication Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related fields is preferred.
  2. Experience:

    • Prior experience in selling technical products and services is required.
  3. Work Authorization:

    • Must hold U.S. Citizenship.
  4. Technical Knowledge:

    • Strong technical acumen with familiarity in electronic components and systems.
    • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively to diverse audiences.
  5. Flexibility:

    • Willingness to travel within the USA and occasionally abroad for client meetings and industry events.
  6. Communication Skills:

    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with stakeholders and team members.
  7. Self-Driven:

    • Highly motivated with an entrepreneurial drive to learn sales processes and master the product portfolio.
  8. Data-Oriented:

    • Proficiency in using business systems (CRM, ERP, and data analysis).
    • Ability to produce reports and client quotes with accuracy.
  9. Team Player:

    • Strong collaboration and teamwork skills, with a willingness to share knowledge and achieve common goals.
