Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to join our team in Mysore, specializing in the TMT Bar industry. The ideal candidate will have 5 to 10 years of experience, preferably with knowledge of key players in the industry like SK TMT, INDUS TMT, JSW TMT, JINDAL PANTHER, and TATA TISCON. The role involves developing strong relationships with dealers, managing a small team of sales executives, and implementing marketing strategies to meet sales targets.

Primary Responsibilities :

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dealer Management:

    • Identify and onboard new dealers to expand the company's market reach.
    • Maintain and nurture relationships with existing dealers, ensuring their satisfaction and alignment with company goals.
    • Assess and select the right dealers to promote brand growth and market penetration.
  • Team Leadership:

    • Lead and manage a team of 2-3 sales executives, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to achieve their individual and collective sales targets.
    • Monitor the performance of the team, ensuring they meet their goals, and provide training and development opportunities.
  • Sales Target Achievement:

    • Drive sales growth by meeting and exceeding monthly and quarterly targets.
    • Develop strategies to penetrate new markets and grow market share within the TMT Bar industry.
  • Marketing & Promotions:

    • Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute promotional activities aimed at increasing brand visibility and dealer engagement.
    • Organize and participate in marketing campaigns, dealer meets, and other promotional events to enhance the brand’s presence in the market.
  • Market Research:

    • Conduct market analysis to understand industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences, adjusting sales strategies accordingly.

Qualifications:

  • 5 to 10 years of experience in sales, with a strong background in the TMT Bar industry.
  • Experience working with or knowledge of competitors like SK TMT, INDUS TMT, JSW TMT, JINDAL PANTHER, and TATA TISCON is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Kannada is mandatory, with good communication skills in both Kannada and English.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a small team and achieve results.
  • Proven track record in dealer management and meeting sales targets.
