Key Responsibilities:
Cost Analysis and Reconciliation:
- Prepare cost comparison statements to analyze planned vs. actual expenditures.
- Reconcile major quantities and materials to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Documentation and Approvals:
- Document scope changes and secure necessary approvals from relevant stakeholders.
- Manage and document amendments to the project scope as required.
BOQ and Vendor Management:
- Prepare the Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for projects.
- Float inquiries to vendors and suppliers, negotiate, and finalize vendors and their scope of work.
- Estimate quantities and conduct rate analysis for non-BOQ items.
Billing and Certifications:
- Prepare and certify client and subcontractor bills accurately and on time.
- Ensure billing compliance both manually and using designated billing systems or software.
Desired Qualifications and Skills:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in billing, quantity estimation, and cost analysis in construction or infrastructure projects.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in preparing BOQs and cost estimation.
- Expertise in billing systems and software.
- Knowledge of project documentation and approval workflows.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities to liaise with clients, subcontractors, and vendors.
