We are seeking a skilled and passionate Sous Chef to join a dynamic culinary team in Abuja, Nigeria. The ideal candidate will have 2–3 years of professional kitchen experience, strong leadership qualities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality cuisine. This is a two-year contract opportunity to work in a vibrant and multicultural environment.
Post graduate degree
Assist the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations
Supervise kitchen staff and ensure efficient workflow
Ensure quality, consistency, and presentation of all dishes
Assist in planning menus and creating new dishes
Maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety
Monitor inventory and manage kitchen supplies
Train junior kitchen staff and foster a productive team environment
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a similar role
Proven experience in kitchen supervision and team handling
Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and food presentation
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Graduation preferred (culinary degree/certification a plus)
Language: Fluent in English
Strong communication skills
Attention to detail and creativity in food presentation
Adaptable, team-oriented, and enthusiastic work attitude
