Job Title: Sr. Engineer – Tender
Experience Required: 5 – 8 Years
Salary Budget: ₹45,000 – ₹75,000 per month
Job Type: Full-Time

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Sr. Engineer – Tender to manage the complete tendering process, including technical and commercial bid preparation. The candidate will play a key role in analyzing tender documents, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring timely submission of competitive bids.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil / Mechanical Engineering or related field
5–8 years of experience in tendering, estimation, or contracts

Key Skills

Strong knowledge of tendering and bidding processes
Expertise in BOQ preparation and cost estimation
Good negotiation and analytical skills
Proficiency in MS Excel and estimation tools
Strong communication and coordination skills

Preferred Profile

Experience in construction / EPC / engineering projects
Ability to handle multiple tenders simultaneously
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills

Qualification :

Bachelor degree

Primary Responsibilities :

Key Responsibilities

Tender Management:

Review and analyze tender documents, drawings, and specifications
Identify discrepancies and prepare technical queries/clarifications
Manage end-to-end tendering process from receipt to submission

Estimation & Costing:

Prepare detailed cost estimates and BOQs (Bill of Quantities)
Conduct quantity take-offs and pricing analysis
Ensure accurate and competitive bid pricing

Bid Preparation:

Prepare technical and commercial proposals
Coordinate with design, procurement, and project teams
Ensure compliance with client requirements and deadlines

Vendor & Subcontractor Coordination:

Obtain quotations from vendors and subcontractors
Evaluate and negotiate commercial terms
Finalize vendor selection for tender submission

Documentation & Reporting:

Maintain proper tender documentation and records
Prepare reports and updates for management review
