Position Overview:

We are seeking dynamic and self-motivated Telemarketers to join our Marketing team in Sri Lanka. The role involves making outbound calls to potential customers, generating interest, qualifying leads, and closing sales over the phone. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, a customer-focused approach, and a resilient attitude to thrive in a sales-driven environment.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. Make outbound calls to potential customers and introduce the company’s services.
  2. Persuade prospects to purchase services by explaining the benefits and features.
  3. Engage and build rapport with prospects using persuasive communication techniques.
  4. Gather information about customers’ needs, preferences, and potential interest in services.
  5. Qualify leads and follow up with customers to close sales.
  6. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and activities using CRM or call center software.
  7. Address customer questions and objections professionally and confidently.

Required Skills and Competencies:

  • Communication Skills:
    • Excellent verbal communication in English, Bengali, and Hindi.
    • Clear, confident, and professional phone manner.
  • Sales Skills:
    • Ability to articulate product features and benefits persuasively.
    • Resilience and perseverance to handle rejection positively.
    • Strong customer-focused mindset to address needs effectively.
  • Organizational Skills:
    • Efficient management of customer information and follow-up activities.
    • Basic computer literacy and familiarity with CRM systems or call center software.
  • Personal Attributes:
    • Self-motivated, creative, and persistent.
    • Professionalism, integrity, and a positive attitude in all interactions.

Educational Requirements:

  • Graduation: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Special Courses: Not mandatory but an added advantage if related to telemarketing or sales.
