Position Overview: As a Store & Purchase Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our restaurant's supply chain. You will be responsible for managing inventory, sourcing high-quality ingredients, negotiating with suppliers, and maintaining optimal stock levels. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in the restaurant industry, a strong understanding of Tally software, and proven experience in managing store and purchase functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management:
- Implement and oversee effective inventory control measures to minimise waste and ensure optimal stock levels.
- Conduct regular stock assessments and reconcile discrepancies using Tally
Supplier Management:
- Identify and build relationships with reliable suppliers to ensure a consistent supply of quality
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favourable
Order Processing:
- Oversee the procurement process, from placing orders to coordinating
- Work closely with the kitchen and other departments to forecast demand and plan orders
Quality Control:
- Monitor the quality of incoming products and ensure they meet the restaurant's
- Address any quality issues promptly and collaborate with suppliers to resolve
Cost Management:
- Implement cost-saving measures without compromising
- Analyse pricing and market trends to identify opportunities for cost
What are we looking for?
Experience:
- Strong and proven experience in a similar role within the restaurant
- Proven track record of successful inventory and purchase
- Familiarity with Tally software is
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain supplier
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving
- Proficient in using Tally software for inventory and financial
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to lead a team and manage day-to-day store and purchase operations
Education:
- Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or similar is
