Job Description:

The HR Compliance Manager will play a crucial role in strengthening HR compliance as per labor law and the Factories Act for our garment unit. The role involves aligning payroll processes, extensively supporting compliance, EHS, records management, procedures, and policy drafting and execution. This position is critical for ensuring that all compliance-related areas are fully addressed by the end of the year without incurring heavy costs.

Detailed Work Profile:

  • Ensure HR compliance as per labor law and the Factories Act for the garment unit.
  • Strengthen and align payroll processes currently utilizing BUSY software.
  • Provide extensive support in solving compliance issues, EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety), and managing records.
  • Draft and execute necessary procedures and policies to ensure full compliance by the year-end.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure all compliance measures are effectively implemented and maintained.

Qualification :

Bachelor degree

Primary Responsibilities :

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all HR compliance-related activities in the garment unit.
  • Align and strengthen payroll processes in BUSY software.
  • Draft, execute, and manage policies and procedures to ensure compliance with labor laws and the Factories Act.
  • Provide solutions for compliance, EHS, and record management.
  • Ensure all compliance-related areas are fully addressed by the year-end.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in HR compliance, particularly in the garment manufacturing industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of labor laws and the Factories Act.
  • Experience in using payroll software, preferably BUSY.
  • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi.
  • Ability to draft and execute policies and procedures.
  • Cost-effective problem-solving skills.

Contract Duration:

  • To be defined by the company.

Experience Required:

  • Relevant experience in HR compliance within the garment manufacturing sector.
